Star Wars in 30...make that...60 Minutes Returns to Celebration!

Star Wars Saga in 60 MinutesThe hit romp through the Star Wars saga is back at Celebration, but this time Patrick Gorman and his troupe of inexhaustible actors have expanded their original Star Wars in 30 Minutes, which featured comic and quick renditions of Episodes IV, V, and VI, to include Episodes I, II and III. Scheduled for each of the four days of Celebration, it’s an entertainment event to mark in your show planner.

Star Wars in 30 Minutes was first performed at Celebration II, and has since played to capacity shows at Celebrations III and IV. The demand for the show was so great that we have moved the show to a larger venue. Don’t miss this manic, laugh-out-loud romp through all six movies of the Star Wars saga.

To help prepare for Celebration VI, Gorman and the SW 60 troupe are workshopping the production in the Los Angeles area for three weeks only! Get a first look before the premiere at Celebration!

Star Wars Saga in 60 Minutes CastStar Wars Trilogy in 30 Minutes, which showcased the original three movies, premiered at the 1996 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to extraordinary critical and commercial success. This was followed by a command performance for Mr. George Lucas himself at Skywalker Ranch, who said of the play: “It’s a wonderful show. It’s pretty intense. It’s very funny. It’s extremely funny.”

Luke & C-3POIn addition to the films’ creator’s praise, the production has received rave reviews from the Los Angeles Times who said the show recalled "the glory days of Second City, if not the earlier funny episodes of Saturday Night Live" and Variety who declared it a "smash hit" and "unflailingly imaginative!" Other glowing reviews and news pieces have been done on the show by CNN, BBC, Fox,USA Today, The Guardian, and the Sunday London Times, among others. The show has also been performed at several Star Wars Celebrations (the official Lucasfilm Star Wars conventions), for which thrilled audiences regularly stood in line for hours and shows were added every day to meet demand.
