2020 EVENT CANCELLATION

WHY IS STAR WARS CELEBRATION ANAHEIM BEING CANCELLED?

At Star Wars Celebration, the health and safety of our fans, attendees, exhibitors, guests and staff is always our number one priority. Due to the global impact of the COVID-19 virus and in speaking with local and state authorities on the latest public health guidelines related to indoor conventions, we have made the decision to cancel Star Wars Celebration for 2020.

IS THERE A DATE SET FOR THE NEXT STAR WARS CELEBRATION?

We are happy to announce that Star Wars Celebration will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on August 18-21, 2022.

ORDER REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS

WHAT TRANSFER OR REFUND OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?

For your convenience, you may request to transfer your tickets to 2022, receive a refund of your order conveniently via PayPal (minus $3.99 per ticket processing fee), or receive a merchandise credit (plus a 10% bonus credit) for your existing order.

To Request a Refund or Merchandise Credit:

To receive a refund of your Star Wars Celebration 2020 tickets conveniently via PayPal (minus $3.99 per ticket processing fee), please click here to submit your request before August 26th, 2020. You may also request a merchandise credit of the value of your order. As a special thank you, fans who choose to receive a merchandise credit will also receive a 10% bonus credit which can be used towards exciting, exclusive merchandise opportunities to be announced later this year!

Ticket Transfers:

If you’d like to transfer your existing ticket(s) to Star Wars Celebration 2022, no additional action is required. Your tickets will automatically be transferred to Star Wars Celebration 2022 after the ticket refund request period closes on August 26th, 2020. A new confirmation e-mail will be sent to you 6-8 weeks after the refund request period closes.

I DON’T HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. WHAT CAN I DO?

Lyte uses PayPal as the payment method for transactions. Setting up a PayPal account is easy, and you can transfer funds from PayPal directly to your checking account.

STORMTROOPER INCENTIVE PIN

HOW DO I GET THE EXCLUSIVE STORMTROOPER CELEBRATION PIN?

Fans will receive one (1) free exclusive Star Wars Celebration stormtrooper character pin for each 2020 event ticket that is transferred to the new 2022 event dates. If you choose to transfer your tickets to 2022 and not request a refund, then no additional action is necessary on your part. Pins will automatically be shipped out to you and are expected to ship before the end of the year.

Please note: All ticket transfers will be processed after the refund request deadline on August 26, 2020.

WHEN WILL I GET MY STORMTROOPER PIN FOR TRANSFERRING MY 2020 TICKET TO 2022?

The exclusive stormtrooper pins will go into production shortly after the refund request deadline of August 26, 2020 and will be delivered to fans before the end of the year.

HOW MANY STORMTROOPER PINS WILL I GET IF I TRANSFER MY TICKETS?

Fans will receive one (1) stormtrooper pin per transferred ticket.

Example: If a family of 4 transfers all 4 of their tickets, including kids tickets, they will receive 4 pins.

WHEN DO I NEED TO TRANSFER MY 2020 TICKETS TO 2022 IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE STORMTROOPER PIN?

Fans who wish to request a refund on their tickets and merchandise conveniently through PayPal may do so at www.starwarscelebration.com starting on June 22nd. 

Please note: After August 26th, 2020 fans who do not opt in to receive a refund will automatically have their tickets and merchandise transferred to the new 2022 dates, and no further action is required on your part. Your exclusive stormtrooper pin will ship before the end of the year!

WHERE WILL MY STORMTROOPER PIN SHIP TO?

The stormtrooper pins will ship to the address provided on your original 2020 ticket order. Pins are expected to ship before the end of the year. If you need to update your shipping address please contact our customer service droids at starwarsinquiry@reedexpo.com.

STAR WARS CELEBRATION MERCHANDISE

WHAT IF I PRE-ORDERED STAR WARS CELEBRATION 2020 MERCHANDISE?

Fans who have pre-ordered merchandise may choose to keep their existing order or may request a refund by clicking here.

WHEN WILL MY EXISTING MERCHANDISE SHIP?

Fans who choose to keep their merchandise orders for Star Wars Celebration can expect shipping to start shipping by November 2020.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MERCHANDISE CREDIT, AND HOW CAN I USE IT?

Fans who opt for a merchandise credit as part of the ticket refund process will receive an exclusive, unique code that can be used to purchase merchandise through exciting opportunities available before the end of the year. Codes will be sent to the e-mail associated with your original order within 4-6 weeks of the request period ending. The refund request period is currently scheduled to close on August 26th, 2020. 

HOW DO I ORDER MY SET(S)?

Star Wars Celebration Exclusive Merchandise will debut for an exclusive, early access period for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2020 ticket holders. Early access for original event date ticket holders will officially begin on Friday, August 28th, 2020 at 12 noon Eastern. In the coming days, you’ll receive information on how to create an account to access this exclusive early access opportunity. Starting August 31st at 12 noon Eastern, remaining merchandise will be open to the general public for purchase.

HOW MANY SETS CAN I BUY?

All Star Wars Celebration pin sets are limited in number and we allow fans to purchase up to five sets per ticket order, while supplies last. Please note, you receive one login per Star Wars Celebration ticket order, whether it is for multiple tickets, or a single ticket, along with instructions on how to purchase your pin sets. There is a strict, 5 set maximum per order. Should a customer attempt to purchase quantities in excess of this, they risk having their orders cancelled and access to future Star Wars Celebration pin set releases revoked.

HOTEL AND TRAVEL QUESTIONS

WHAT IF I HAD A HOTEL RESERVATION FOR THE 2020 SHOW?

For reservations made through our official hotel partner, Connections Housing:

For your convenience, we have automatically cancelled your hotel reservation on your behalf at no cost to you.  Should you wish to keep your reservation with the current dates, please contact the hotel reservation team at Connections Housing any time Monday - Friday 6am - 3pm PST (702-476-6976) As a thank you for being a loyal Star Wars Celebration fan, you will have first-access to the official hotel booking site when Star Wars Celebration returns to the Anaheim Convention Center, August 18-21, 2022. 

For all other hotel reservations:

If you did not make your hotel reservation through our official provider, Connections Housing, we recommend contacting the service provider the reservation was booked through, or directly contacting the hotel at which your reservation was made.

ARE THERE FEE WAIVERS OR REFUNDS AVAILABLE FOR MY AIRFARE?

We recommend reaching out to your airline directly for assistance with canceling or modifying your airfare, and to receive additional information on your specific options available for refunds or fee waivers.
