Virtual Panel Selection and LIGHTSPEED Reservations

Virtual Panel Selection

Virtual Panel and Exhibitor Shopping selections are now open through Sunday, May 22 at 11:59 PM PT!  Virtual panel selection is available for the first panel of each day on the Celebration Stage, Galaxy Stage, and Twin Suns Stage. Exhibitor shopping selection is available for Funko and Loungefly throughout the weekend. You do not need to rush to enter! Make sure you fill out your selections thoroughly and correctly. The time in which you enter does not impact your chances of being selected.

The panel selection process is quick and easy! Please keep in mind that you are only allowed to request panels on the day(s) you have a ticket for Star Wars Celebration. Once you begin your session, click on the panel you would like to attend. You are limited to one entry per panel, up to the number of badges in your original order. If you purchased four (4) badges in your original order, you will be able to add three (3) people including yourself to your panel request. Multiple entries for the same panel with the same email address will be void.

If you are attending with a group, but you didn't purchase your tickets together, you will have the choice to request a panel for yourself, or for your group, up to twelve (12) people maximum. Enter the email address that you used to purchase your Celebration tickets and follow the instructions to submit a request for the panels you'd like to see. Once you have submitted your request, you will receive a group code. Share your group code with your friends so they can enter into your group and have a chance to be selected together!

Jedi Master VIPs are not able to request panel reservations as they already have reserved seats for all panels on the Celebration Stage. The Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages will be streaming the morning panels live from the Celebration Stage.

Panel requests for the Celebration Stage and the streaming of these panels to the Galaxy Stage and Twin Suns Stage will close on May 22 at 11:59 PM PT. 

The time in which you submit your request has no impact on your chance of being randomly selected.

If you are selected for admission to the first panel of the day, you will receive a confirmation email with a QR code. Please plan to arrive at least 30 - 45 minutes prior to the start of the panel with your QR code. You may print it out or we can scan it on your phone. We ask that all fans scan into the room at least 15 minutes prior to the panel start time or risk forfeiting your seat. If selected for a panel, children under the age of 6 may attend with a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 6 will not have reserved seating, but may sit on the parent or guardian’s lap.

If you are not selected for admission to the first panel of the day, you may still have an opportunity to attend many exciting events! Panel reservations are not needed for panels on the Celebration Stage after each morning panel concludes. After the morning panel, fans will be able to enter the Celebration stage as they wish, at any time, to watch additional panels so long as the stage has not reached capacity. If you would like to attend a panel at the Celebration Stage (other than the first panel of the day), simply join the queue in Hall A starting at 10:00 AM PT daily. You may not line up prior to 10:00 AM PT.

There are also opportunities to catch panels on the Galaxy and Twin Suns stages. You can either visit the stand-by line near the panel room or you can reserve an available seat through LIGHTSPEED Lane reservations via our mobile app and website. Reservations will be live and available each morning of the event (more info on that below!).

QR codes can only be redeemed once, so they can’t be duplicated or shared with others. Once a QR code is scanned upon entry into a stage, it is not valid for entry again. You only need to have the email address used for your Star Wars Celebration purchase to participate in the panel request process. You do not need to have your physical badge.

Exhibitor Shopping Selection Process

Funko and Loungefly will be utilizing an advanced virtual selection process to provide more fans the opportunity to purchase items from their booth during a dedicated shopping window. Fans will be able to submit shopping requests via the same random selection process described above for panels. Only entries submitted for a shopping window on a day that you have a valid badge for Star Wars Celebration will be eligible. You may not request to change or trade your assigned shopping window if you are selected.

Remember, the time a fan submits a request has no impact on your chance of being selected. Make sure you submit your request prior to May 22 at 11:59 PM PT.

Is my badge eligible for the Panel and Exhibitor Shopping Selection?

All paid fan badge types, including children age 6 and over are eligible to enter the virtual panel and exhibitor shopping selections process. Jedi Master VIPs may only enter opportunities for exhibitor shopping windows, and are not eligible for panel selections since they already have reserved seating for the first panel of the day at the Celebration stage. All other unpaid badge types are ineligible to participate in the virtual panel and exhibitor shopping selections process.

Eligible Badge Types:

  • Jedi Master (Not eligible for Panel Selections because reserved seating will be available for this badge type at the Celebration Stage)
  • Adults: 4-Day, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Kids: 4-Day, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

LIGHTSPEED Lane Reservations

The LIGHTSPEED Lane reservation system may be used to reserve a time to shop in the Celebration Store or attend panels on the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages without the need to stand in line. Fans will use the Star Wars Celebration mobile app or Celebration website to reserve a window of time that they will be allowed to use the LIGHTSPEED Lane entrance to the store or for the panel. We encourage you to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your panel reservation to ensure admission. You will need to scan your badge to enter.

Please Note: LIGHTSPEED Lane reservations are not available for the Celebration stage.

To use the LIGHTSPEED Lane Reservation system, you must have a valid badge for Star Wars Celebration, and you must activate your badge when you receive it. An activated badge is required to access the system and claim your reservations. Activate your badge today! LIGHTSPEED Lane reservations will open daily from May 26 – 29 at 9:00 AM PT, Thursday through Sunday. You may not make a reservation prior to 9:00 AM PT each morning.

After you have activated your badge, you will need to download the Star Wars Celebration 2022 mobile app via the iOS or Android app stores.

Is my badge eligible for LIGHTSPEED Lane Reservations?

All paid fan badge types, including children age 6 and over and Jedi Master VIPs are eligible to use the LIGHTSPEED Lane reservation system. Your badge must be activated to use the LIGHTSPEED Lane reservation system. Special Guest and Media badges are also eligible to use the LIGHTSPEED Lane reservation system as long as their badge has been activated to a valid email address. Badges do not to be activated to the email used to purchase the badge or place an order. We encourage you to activate each badge with a unique email address associated with the fan receiving or wearing the badge.
