Fan Table Applications for Star Wars Celebration are Open Now!

There will be a limited number of fan club tables available at Celebration Chicago for unofficial, regional, and international fan clubs and similar fan organizations. These tables will allow clubs to promote their organizations to other Star Wars fans and to act as a central location for club activities.

Clubs that qualify will be supplied with one (1) approximately 8-foot table, two chairs, one standard electrical outlet, and a space approximately 10 feet wide by 10 feet deep at no cost to them. Clubs will also receive four exhibitor badges at no cost to them. Clubs will be responsible for costs for any additional booth furnishings and will be asked to make specific arrangements with the facility or the official decorator for further utilities or other equipment at the prevailing rate. The fan table locations are yet to be determined but will likely be part of a larger Celebration Experience Exhibit Hall.

Fan club tables must be staffed by at least one person who represents the group at all times during the hours that the hall is open. The hours fan tables need to be staffed during Celebration 2019 are:

Thursday 1:00pm-8:00pm
Friday 9:00am-7:00pm
Saturday 9:00am-7:00pm
Sunday 9:00am-7:00pm
Monday 9:00am-5:00pm

Fan club tables are strictly for promoting fan club activities and outreach. No club will be allowed to sell merchandise or services from their table.

All free giveaways, printed materials, banners, and signage created by fan clubs that are accepted to be part of Celebration 2019 must be approved by the Star Wars Celebration in advance before printing and creation. Fan tables with unapproved giveaways or materials will not be allowed to set up.

Fan clubs wishing to have a Celebration 2019 fan club table must complete the application by 11:59 PM CST on September 11, 2018.

The Celebration staff will respond to fan table requests starting October 10, 2018. All applicants will be notified of final decisions by November 14, 2018.

When completing your fan table application, please note we look for the following:

  • Involvement and positive influence in the Star Wars fan community
  • Quality of involvement per fan club member, not simply quantity of members
  • Originality of club purpose; and exhibiting ideas and plans that will add to the Celebration experience for attending fans
