We’ve taken proactive steps and implemented guidelines and requirements to help support a safe and comfortable experience. Our team is constantly reviewing the Star Wars Celebration requirements. Please check this page often for the most up-to-date information.


Every participant, including attendees, exhibitors, guests and staff, are expected to comply with the health & safety requirements, including, but not limited to:


Star Wars Celebration requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for entry for all individuals. Participants are required to show proof of:

  • Completion of full vaccination with a COVID-19 vaccine approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO) for admission; or 
  • Proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test administered by a medical provider.

At this time, everyone must wear an approved face covering at all times while inside the venue and while attending Star Wars Celebration. For more details on approved face coverings, please click here.


All participants are asked to review and confirm they are able to comply with the Health & Safety Acknowledgement  prior to entering Star Wars Celebration, including ensuring that they are not currently experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who is not feeling well or begins to experience symptoms at any time during Star Wars Celebration should contact and follow the guidance of their physician. No one is permitted entry to Star Wars Celebration who is not in full compliance with the health & safety requirements and the Health & Safety Acknowledgement .

Star Wars Celebration has worked closely with Anaheim Convention Center to implement cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the recommendations of the CDC. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain personal hygiene, including washing your hands frequently. 


Please adhere to all signage and direction from all staff, including our Safety Ambassadors. We have adjusted our layout and implemented exhibitor recommendations with the wellbeing of our guests in mind. Operational adjustments may occur throughout the event.


Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow participants so that everyone can enjoy their time at Star Wars Celebration.


Please ensure that you have reviewed any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to the United States and for travel to the city and state of the event.

Please be advised that a risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any event or public space, including the event. Prior to registering for and attending the event, please ensure you have read the latest CDC Guidelines for PreventionBy attending the event, you acknowledge this inherent risk on behalf of yourself and/or any Minor attending the event for which you serve as Guardian (collectively, “You”) and, as a condition of entering the event, You acknowledge, understand and confirm each of the following in accordance with applicable health guidelines:

  • That You will abide by all terms of admission and participation (as may be updated from time to time) and event health-and-safety requirements, including wearing an approved face covering at all times;
  • That You are not currently experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19, as identified at, including, but not limited to:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing 
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • That prior to attending the event You have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a CDC-recommended quarantine;
  • That You are not under any self-quarantine or isolation orders or subject to any CDC self-quarantine or isolation protocol.

Where vaccination is required for entry, participants MUST present proof of vaccination directly from the healthcare provider that performed the vaccination (whether a physical copy or on a smartphone) OR through the use of an approved mobile app to enter the event.

For purposes of this acknowledgement, a “Minor” means any individual who under eighteen (18) years of age or has not reached the age of majority as defined by such individual’s jurisdiction of residence, and a “Guardian” means such Minor’s parent or legal guardian or other individual attending the Event who is over the age of eighteen (18) and acting in loco parentis for such Minor. Please see the event’s terms of participation to confirm the age requirements for entry.

Please do not enter the event or the event venue if You cannot confirm all of the above criteria. If at any point during Your time at the event You do not meet all of the above criteria, You will be required to isolate and may be relocated or asked to leave the venue at the sole discretion of event management.

Please note: The guidelines in this document are based on information currently available regarding the behavior and characteristics of the COVID-19 virus, public health information and local or state guidelines with respect to large gatherings. As more clarity with respect to these variables emerges, it is expected that these guidelines may need to be adjusted accordingly.

At this time, “fully vaccinated” means that the day of your entry to Star Wars Celebration must be at least 14 days after completion of your primary series of an FDA or WHO approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine, such as:

  • second dose of a two dose COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or
  • single dose of a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine)

In accordance with CDC guidelines, booster shots are not required to be considered fully vaccinated, however, please note that the CDC recommends that people remain up to date with their vaccines, which includes additional doses for individuals who are immunocompromised or booster doses at regular time points. Please note that this remains subject to further update as CDC guidance is revised.

The following vaccines approved by the FDA or authorized by the FDA for emergency use*:

  • Pfizer (BioNTech)
  • Moderna
  • J&J (Jansen)

The following vaccines authorized by the WHO for emergency use*:

  • Oxford - AstraZeneca
  • Sinopharm – BBIBP
  • Sinovac
  • Covishield
  • Covaxin

The following vaccine used during a U.S. based clinical trial:

  • Novavax

RX and Star Wars Celebration will accept mixed COVID-19 vaccine schedules of WHO-authorized vaccines to establish full vaccination status.

Yes, proof of negative test must comply with the California guidelines for large events, meaning the test must have been conducted (and timestamped) no more than:

  • 1 day prior to initial admission for an antigen test, or
  • 2 days prior to initial admission for a PCR test.

Yes. Everyone must wear an approved face covering at all times while inside the venue and while attending Star Wars Celebration. Additional details and guidelines on acceptable face coverings can be found here.

Approved face coverings are required to be worn by everyone at Star Wars Celebration at all times, including during move-in and move-out. For questions regarding accommodations and our accessibility protocols, please contact us.

No. Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests are not required for children age 2 and under. However, all participants OVER AGE 2 entering Star Wars Celebration will need to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative rapid antigen or molecular lab COVID-19 test. 

Star Wars Celebration show management partners closely with Anaheim Convention Center, local, state, and federal health authorities to maintain a robust operational plan designed to maximize the health and safety of everyone. These Include:

  • Strict sanitization and cleaning procedures
  • Hand sanitizing stations
  • Layout design and spaces to promote a safe experience
  • Exhibitor guidelines and booth design standards
  • Reduced contact transactions

Everyone in attendance at Star Wars Celebration is expected to fully comply with terms of service for participation in Star Wars Celebration, including all health and safety requirements. Acknowledging the requirements and agreeing to comply is a condition of entry (See the Health & Safety Acknowledgement). Star Wars Celebration will have specially designated Safety Ambassadors available to assist with the implementation of our requirements. A health & safety contact phone number will be clearly noted on signage throughout Star Wars Celebration to allow for reporting of any concerns or issues. Show management may remove, ban or revoke the badge without refund of anyone who fails to comply or impacts the safety or security of the Event, each in show management’s sole and absolute discretion

Star Wars Celebration expects everyone attending Star Wars Celebration to adhere to our various policies, including our code of conduct, anti-harassment, security screening, and more. 

If you have reason to believe you currently have COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19, you should not attend Star Wars Celebration and consult your physician, including if these conditions emerge while you are at the show. Please review our Health & Safety Acknowledgement each day prior to attending Star Wars Celebration to ensure you can comply with all of the requirements therein.
