Holonet News Application

Star Wars Celebration is looking for the very best Star Wars podcasters and fan news outlets from across the Galaxy!  Do you have a fan-led news outlet or podcast that celebrates Star Wars? Connect with your audience at Star Wars Celebration by hosting an in-person panel on the Holonet News Stage!  

All fan-submitted panels must complete the application and review process. Participation in previous shows does not guarantee acceptance to Star Wars Celebration Los Angeles.    

Applications will close on Sunday, October 25, 2026 11:59 PM PT. All applicants will be notified of their application status by late December 2026.  

When completing your application, please note the following:   

• Submitting a panel does not guarantee acceptance.  
• All panels accepted for broadcasting at Star Wars Celebration must be at least 18 years of age by April 1, 2027.  
• Star Wars Celebration provides panelists complimentary admission for up to six approved speakers, including the moderator, depending on panel content.   
• Star Wars Celebration does not pay speaking fees nor does it cover travel, lodging or meals.   
• Time on the Holonet News Stage is strictly for not-for-profit, fan-based podcasts, and fan news outlets that will be broadcasting solely about Star Wars and are family-friendly.   
• All panels accepted for broadcasting at Star Wars Celebration must be at least 18 years of age.  
• Any guests in your application must be ones you have already confirmed.  No guests or celebrities will be provided by Star Wars Celebration for Holonet News Stage broadcasts. No celebrity “wish lists” will be considered.  
• Star Wars Celebration will schedule your Panel based on availability and needs of the show. Panelists do not get to choose what day or time they present. Time and date preferences will be considered, but scheduling will be at Star Wars our sole discretion. Please be advised that panel schedules may change.  Panel organizers will be notified of required schedule changes.  
• Star Wars Celebration stages are equipped with microphones, projectors and screens, and different playback devices, depending on which stage we choose for your event. All stages have laptops. Presenters will need to bring a saved file of their presentation. More information about AV setup will be provided to approved panelists.   
• All free giveaways, printed materials, banners, and signage created by fan panelists must be approved by the Star Wars Celebration team before printing and creation. Unapproved giveaways or materials will not be allowed to be distributed. More information about the materials approval process will be provided to approved panelists.
